The new students of academic session 2025-26 for the Faculty of Allied, Diploma Courses were welcomed through an Induction Program, “Deeksharambh 2025” on Friday, October 3, held in LT-B, Ground Floor, Pharmacy Building. The Student Induction Program (SIP) was held according to the SAGE model of UGC with emphasis on socializing, associating, governing and experiencing. The Induction will be followed by five days of Orientation and Foundation Classes.
The hon’ble Pro-Vice Chancellor, Era University, Prof. Dr. Farzana Mahdi congratulated the Orientation team for the smooth conduction of the Induction Program for Diploma Courses, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and Research.
Chief Coordinator, Diploma Courses, Allied Health Sciences and Research, Dr. Shallabh Kumar Singh delivered the welcome address, where he introduced the various Diploma courses at the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and Research at Era University to the students. He also mentioned rules and regulations pertaining to the Faculty.
The Additional Controller of Examination, Prof. Dr. S. Akhtar Hassan Rizvi addressed the students and discussed the examination policy of Era University. He guided the students about examination pattern in Diploma Courses.
The Additional Proctor, Dr. Ragvendra Singh spoke about the importance of discipline on campus to save students from any punishment. He stressed on the importance of good behaviour on campus.
Prof. Zia Abbas Naqvi, Professor from Allied Health Sciences and Research addressed the students inspiring them on the path to professionalism and dedication towards their work.
The Induction program was concluded by a vote of thanks by Dr. Rupali Mirza, Chairperson, Induction-Orientation, Era University and Head, Department of English. The event was compered by Dr. Anupama Dhuria. The Chairperson thanked all the people who were instrumental in making the program successful including her own team members, namely, Dr. Minhaj Usmani, Dr. Saleha Jafri, Dr. Shazia Fatima, Dr. Shipra Srivastava and Mr. Ajaydeep Singh. The Induction program was graced by other dignitaries from Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, namely, Head, RIT, Prof. Usman Khan, Head, MLT, Dr. Ekta Andriyas, Head, Optometry, Dr. Sunil Gupta and the Diploma course coordinators from Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and Research.
