Today On May 31st, Dept Of Respiratory Medicine And Dept Of Nursing, Era Medical College Observed World No Tobacco Day , A Global Iniative led by World Health Organization (WHO) to raise awareness about harmful and dreadly effects of tobacco use and to advocate for effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption.
On This Occasion, Dr K B Gupta, Professor And Head , Dept Of Respiratory Medicine , enlightened all the students about the harm effects of tobacco use and various steps of de addiction. Dr Rishabh Kacker , Assistant Professor, Dept Of Respiratory Medicine spoke about unmasking the appeal which is this year's theme. Dr Dhvani , Assistant Professor, Dept Of Psychiatry Spoke About various approach towards deaddiction. Dr Rachit Sharma, Associate Professor, Dept Of Respiratory Medicine conducted no tobacco pledge for all participants.poster presentation was organised in the dept of respiratory medicine which was conducted by Dr Anjalatchi Muthukumaran.
