In addition to teaching and training undergraduate students, the Department of Biochemistry supports postgraduate students' academic and research endeavours. All modern amenity is available in the department, including a fully automated Biochemistry Analyzer, UV Spectrophotometer, Semi-Auto Analyzer, thin layer Chromatography, Electronic Balance, ELISA Reader, and Dry Chemistry Analyzer Vitros-5600 Integrated System. We have everything we need for the numerous biochemical parameters and the anti-oxidant analysis. Additionally, we have a cutting-edge tissue culture/in vitro facility. The department is working on research projects supported by UP-CST, ICMR, and DST. Additionally, the department has many PhD students and collaboration with various CSIR Labs.
The department has fully functional and well equipped laboratory for the teaching and training of students.
We extend full laboratory & instrument facilities for the successful completion of the MD thesis of different departments. Till date, 50 MD/MS students have enrolled for thesis work under the supervision of different faculty members in the last five years.
Department has advanced facilities for Clinical Biochemistry analysis for better patient care and treatment. Our Laboratory provides computerized biochemistry and Endocrinology report validated by an authorized signatory for the following tests.
