The Department of Pathology, Era's Lucknow Medical College & Hospital, Era University, Lucknow, organized a two day International Conference ONCO 4 on February 5 & 6, 2019. Prof. Riaz Mehdi, HoD, Pathology, was the Organizing Chairperson and Prof. Nirupma Lal was the Organizing Secretary of the conference.
The conference was inaugurated by Prof. Alok Dhawan, Director, CSIR of Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi, Principal & Dean Prof. M.M.A. Faridi, Director of Academics Dr. Farzana Mahdi also graced the inaugural function.
Prof. Ashraf Khan, from Massachusetts Medical School, Boston, USA and Prof. S.M. Hasan Rizvi, Head of Cellular Pathology and NHS Trust Hospital, London, U.K. were the international faculty.
Prof. A.K.Tripathi, Prof. M.M. Goel and Prof. Ashutosh Kumar, all from KGMU and Prof. Nuzhat Hussain from R.M.L. Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, also graced the occasion.
About 200 delegates from different parts of the country are participating in the two-day international conference.
During the conference not only guest lectures, oral presentations and poster presentations were there but also a hands-on workshop was also organized for the benefit of young participants.
