Sewa Parv is a national initiative to celebrate the spirit of Sewa (service) as the truest form of patriotism, contributing to the end goal of VIKSIT BHARAT. Anchored in the Ministry of Culture’s guiding vision “Vikas bhi, Virasat bhi” (Development as well as Heritage), the initiative seeks to weave together cultural pride with a deep sense of social responsibility.The Parv serves as a platform where service to the nation finds expression through culture, art, heritage, knowledge sharing, and inclusive community engagement.

In celebration of the same spirit, Era University’s Creative Arts Club organized a Candle-Making and Decoration Competition on October 18, 2025, First Floor, University Building. The students made and decorated candles on the occasion of Deepawali, celebrating cultural pride and social responsibility as the art promotes inclusive community engagement especially it encourages creative expression with special focus on youth and women empowerment. The hon’ble Pro-Vice Chancellor, Era University appreciated the initiative of Creative Club and stressed on the “utility” of creating such pieces of art, culture and heritage. An Exhibition was organized for display of candles made and decorated by students. The best creations were also given prizes.
