Message From Head of Department

I am excited to introduce you to our dynamic academic community with a great deal of pride. It is a privilege for me to be the department head and to oversee a committed group of teachers, staff, and students who work hard to succeed in the quickly developing field of medical laboratory sciences. Our department is dedicated to offering a thorough educational program that combines theoretical understanding with real-world application. We provide innovative programs aimed at educating the upcoming generation of healthcare executives. Our program places a strong emphasis on critical thinking, cutting-edge technology, and ethical behaviour—essential elements of the modern healthcare environment. Our goal is to provide students with a balance of intellectual and practical experiences that enable them to serve a variety of societal needs. The Department focus is to train our students to get strong academic knowledge in the frontier areas of medical fields and also to make the students ready to face real-world challenges. The Department has a rich blend of young and highly-experienced regular and visiting faculty members, all holding relevant qualifications from reputed institutes. The faculty members display a high level of dedication and enthusiasm towards both teaching and state-of-the-art research. This dedication has made us achieve ‘A’ Grade in QCI audit of Uttar Pradesh State medical faculty.

Name of the programme: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician (DMLT)
Eligibility:

  • A candidate seeking admission in the Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Techniques shall have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as principal subjects
  • A minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 exams.
  • Age limit of at least 17 years at the time of college joining.
  • University- Specific Entrance Exam and Interview

Course Duration: 2 Years

Name of the programme: Bachelors of Science in Medical Laboratory Techniques (B.Sc MLT )
Eligibility:
  • A candidate seeking admission in the Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Techniques should have completed recognised secondary school studies, 10+2 or equivalent examination with science subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Min 50% marks) from a recognised university or board.
  • A minimum of 55% marks in Class 12 exams.
  • Age limit of at least 17 years at the time of college joining.
  • University- Specific Entrance Exam based on the syllabus of 10+2 (Biology) and Interview

Course Duration: 4 years ( 7 Semester + 6 months Internship)

Name of the programme: Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Techniques (M.SC MLT)
Eligibility:
  • A bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum aggregate percentage of 50% or higher in the qualifying degree.
  • University- Specific Entrance Exam based on the syllabus of Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Techniques and Interview
No. of Seats: 20
Course Duration: 2 years

Name of the programme: Doctorate of Philosophy in Medical Laboratory techniques (Ph.D in MLT)
Eligibility:
  • Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences/MLS (or allied field) with a minimum 55-60% aggregate.
  • Entrance Examination: University-specific entrance test or national-level exams like UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/GATE.
  • Other Requirements: Research proposal or statement of purpose. Interview (often part of the selection process).
